Immigration became a topic of conversation today with my friends. Two of them are military. One is in the National Guard, the other fellow is Army reserve, brilliant guy. We view this militarily OK. Went state by state, to see the immigration numbers. Is truly breathtaking and out of control. Just adding up two immigrant groups - I believe Vietnamese and Guatemalans - the numbers are higher, than the people living in Puerto Rico.
We concluded that the problem has not been resolved, because somehow it has not been made existential. There are places where immigration becomes existential. Puerto Rico is 100 miles long, 34 miles wide, things become existential very quickly and very fast. People snap, become Jack Russel Terrier’s, who are feisty, and a nuclear reactor of energy. Send 500,000 immigrants -no slow drips- and see what happens.
With no AIPAC. With no Presidential vote. With no people in Congress. We will change the immigration laws of The United States. Marches, civil unrest, National Guard mobilized. BBC, CNN, FOX, Spanish news and the rest of Clown World media. People know how to mobilize. A couple of years ago, in a matter of two weeks, we kick our wonderful progressive Governor out of office. And a decade before a Navy shooting range was closed. People here snap and they don’t stop when something is perceived as existential. My point is, that fire in the belly is what Americans need, if they want to solve the immigration issue. I know Americans and the victim complex don’t fit you. “The Jews control us” stop and snap out of it, take control of the situation.
In my family, I have two Korean war veterans. My girlfriend dad is a Vietnam vet. Meaning no disrespect here. Americans need to understand that this whole immigration problem is the result of empire. We know all about it, 400 years of Spanish empire, collapsed right in front of us. Is part of our history, we understand it. Empire is in the course of performance.
The Chinese and the Russians have centuries of experience with empire. They understand it, in a way most of the West don’t - even Great Britain haven’t figure it out yet - is that empire weakens the nation. They figured this out way before America was even born. The reason that they still survive is that they understand that empire is more weakness than a strength.
