Government protests broke out in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi, as crowds of protesters gathered to demonstrate against what they called the “European Union and US interference in Georgia”
Waving the Georgian 5 Crosses flag, protesters marched on the streets of the Georgian capital chanting Nationalist and Anti-West slogans
During the protests, European Union flags hosted in some government buildings of Georgia were burned down by the protesters, who hosted and raised the Georgian flag on its place
According to some medias, the protesters are tied to “Conservative Movement/Alt Info”, which in the past June 2022 gained notoriety for disbanding the Gay Parades taking place in Tbilisi and being condemned by the US State Department as a “Far-Right Pro-Russian Group” on Georgian soil
