Consciousness predates life

…because the
“body is a dark dungeon for the soul, and the soul is a dark dungeon for the Spirit”…

Rene Guenon

KA…BA…al(el)ah…etc

And please do not go to churches, Catholic, Orthodox or any other that have such “frescoes” on the walls.
These “frescoes” do not depict anything other than blasphemy.
With a simultaneous depiction of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit properly, but … but … what they depict as the Lord God … is not that at all,but is what Dr. JPF observed as the Demon of Ekur and he is right on point, above the mark …over the target…about that…

This topic caused me to lookup and understand better the differences between the sleep states and anesthesia.

At this point I’m leaning towards the idea that our soul and spirit, though real and functioning in their particular state(s) of consciousness, are subordinate to the physical conscious aspect of ourselves. Subordinate in the sense that while all of these are functioning, the physical state is the “loudest”. That is, in this life and existence, until the physical dies.

Is this the way God would have it?

So maybe I’m resonating more with the Rene Guenon quote.

Very nice link Bill10558.

I’d Imagine also that “Consciousness” predates Consciousness itself…or is that the ‘Will’ to Consciousness… that’s the problem with the Intellect- it falls short…

Darwin’s Bulldog T.H. Huxley… well as Darwin himself pointed out his theory of natural selection / survival of the fittest.in The Origin of Species…had many self reported assumptions, caveats and qualifications. Problem of extremes on a continuum, just as the COE (Wilberforce) represented one view of “scientism” Huxley was anticlerical at the other end of that continuum. Neither in that time, allowed for the open space of science in between, which is never fully populated and settled. Indeed in his X Club and his books Evolution And Ethics which made arguments for biology driving morality, man as ape. Might one argue that T. H. Huxley was an early technocrat and eugenicist based on the accident birth related privileges (and how to hold them generationally)? And were his corpus and beliefs, the point of origin from which perhaps his progeny and grandson, Aldus Huxley launched Brave New World? We still live with the legacy of those initial assumptions, prejudices, positions in materialist scientism driving technocracy as we experienced with the plandemic, as evidenced by and currently experienced in the roll out of AI/AGI/Datacentres/Digital Ids/Digital Currencies/Full spectrum surveillance while crashing financial, economic, food systems as well as national identity and culture to deliver the wanted full salivatory spectrum dominance of technocracy and transhumanism?

Yet another aspect of the Hard Problem.

Yeah, that “first cause” problem has always been a problem.
