Corruption Clampdown

Today when I read a headline like, “EU parliament chief pledges corruption clampdown”; I read: "Anybody who is still representing the people’s will; your days are numbered. Anybody who isn’t lying, cheating, and stealing the public blind; your days are numbered.
In other words, if your not a consummate liar & crook - you don’t belong.
Anybody honest in our ruling class?
Quite frankly, I want to ask you, “How did you, in God’s name, manage to survive our past purges?”

Once the parliamentary system is discredited, totalitarianism can take it’s rightful place.

Any government, w/o the consent of the governed; is not legitimate.
But Napoleon said it best, “Revolution is three meals away”.

That’s old school, nowadays revolution is no longer necessary to establish totalitarianism.
The Nazis took over without one.

True.
And you don’t need people anymore, as well.

Revolution may be necessary to overthrow totalitarianism!

The “Three Meals” quote I read as, if slaves go hungry, they are probably not going to keep doing slave labor and will take down the rule of the slavers instead.

Kinda difficult to revolt when starving and sickly.

…and by you don’t need people; I mean - the algorithms are embedded in governance:
from press 1 for English; to international, national, municipal,
and local government policy decisions being made by AI.
The illusion is that these are choices; when in fact, they are not “real” choices.
The algorithms themselves are being generated by next-generation algorithms;
w/humans being taken out of the governmental decision making process…
all together.

Right that is true of course, annother strategy is if everyone stops paying taxes at once maybe the government would collapse then, but then there would just be anarchy.
