[ If only there were an alternate water route near by that we could use with more of an alliance frame of mind when entering and exiting, being put on top of the list, escorted to the front, given the back stage pass. I’m just trying desperately to imagine if maybe we could somehow create a chaotic like atmosphere in the only congested and well to be blunt, contentious canal in the area. Using a series of well let’s call them unfortunately timed accidents that emphasis the need for a 2nd route; if only we had political allies that owned “Evergreen” shipping, i mean if we have no one else we could always persuade a U.S. Navy Commander coming up on their 20 years.
Perhaps we could promote another one to be built somewhere else, perhaps to parallel the Suez … Just where to put it? 1-2 Cruiser (Aegis typical advanced)
1-2 Destroyers
Supply, Logistics ships typically frigates
unknown Submarines, but typically you can count at least 1 attack class, generally NOT nuke payload, more typical just harassment, close quarters underwater engagement type, generally fast and maneuverable, sizeable torpedo payloads, underwater sonic counter measures, typically ELF VLF sonar pulsing in the low auditory range, Microwave is worthless underwater, at least to my understanding, cause water is great for absorbing any microwave signal or energy in those freqs, it might even have a Seal Team on board just for gits and shiggles depending on mission oriented posture.

What will the optics of the US military plopping a base down on the spot that was just cleared of Palestinians, by the US ally Israel, using predominantly US made weaponry?
We would become the world target, again! Plus it would be something else to have to define against attack.
It would be the most antagonizing move the us could make to further destabilize the region.
