Have you ever wondered how they came up with the design to the church windows?
Turns out theyre not just random spreads of designs, but actually replications of the cymantics from the church acoustics when the silence is amplified.
Pretty brilliant job from the masons who built them.
BUt newer churches dont often have these ,or am i wrong?

Newer cathedrals. co-cathedrals & the like tend to have this but it is dependent upon the acoustics needed too, which is one of the reasons they were built in the first place. Most churches with organs (pipe) tend to have this, or smaller versions of it.
