I passed three of these in Tyler, Texas yesterday. Ostensibly they are there to scan for damage to the sidewalks…Riiiiiiight. As if they ever dedicated any municipal monies to sidewalk repair, or potholes. Come up with a better excuse for their presence please, dear overlords…

Robots should be used only for mundane overflow tasks…like symmetrical book stacking perhaps…
