DC Powerline in the Congo

Hello Dr. Farrell,
I wrote you a few years ago about an 88yo man who claimed to have worked on a 1000 mile power-line in the Congo jungle (1968). When asked what the power-line was for, he replied a cobalt mine. When doing this he was working for a company with two names. I think one was Fairchild. He was a tall, 6’6"+ with deep blue eyes and commanding. This area of the country where I grew up had KKK rallies when I was a kid, the town Boyertown, Pa. Then later I read how Frank from the Aryan Nation compound on the hill was questioned by the Warren Commission. This is Pennsylvania Dutch country where when I was a kid, the pastor at my Lutheran church would still offer the sermon in German and English. A Rosicrucian Center in not far from here with Pyramids and roses and all that.

My question: How many of these old birds are still read in?

If you remember, just a few weeks later the Navy or Air Force announced they had developed a DC power tech that could be transmitted over long distances. Did my tall blue eyed friend know this was being announced?
