O those pesky Germans, on one hand they supposed to help Ukrainians with biolabs, on the other hand they supply Russian with mobile crematoriums. I am with M. Thacher on a fate of Germany. She wished them as many German independent states as posible, so am I

Hello guys, that was a great one. I am just wondering about two things. The hydrogen and the sanctions. The hydrogen can mean something else than just some fusion stuff. Remember Mr Glazyev, talking openly on a press conference on the topic ?

And there is one more question about the sanctions. In case there will be some new source of energy, are not the sanctions in fact hleping Russia to diverzify their economy ? Because that is just what Mr Putin was talking about on a press conference in 2014.
Quote:
“Business has been trying to invest money where it has been possible to make a quick profit and it is very difficult to readjust this mechanism.”
Of course, he meant oil and gas industry by it…maybe even Mr Putin is not so powerful to spoil the game for Russian oligarchs, profiting from current state.

Unfortunately, the text is not in english language (I know Joseph prefers text to video).
You have to try the translator, then.

There is a set of flags at the top of the page for different languages. Nice site, thanks.

Yes. Mr. Putin wants to stir Russian fossil fuel economy toward new green economy by invading a neighboring country. The desperation that people on this site are trying to make an excuse for his action is deplorable, and no, not in a sense Hillary used that word.

Mr. Putin does not need fuel as an excuse. The Ukraine has been allowing Nazi’s to murder ethnic Russians and NATO has been supporting it. He warned that he would take action if it did not stop. Simple. If NATO and Ukraine government cared about civilians, they would negotiate a peace but they won’t even sit at the table. That is what you (apparently) need to appreciate. They don’t care about their people. Americans are now urging more war. THAT is deplorable.

It took me awhile to realize that Putin was not as bad as the rest of the big decision makers. That didn’t make him a good guy. While dealing with the shock at the behavior of our gov officials and nato (cough) ‘leaders’, I definitely took my eye off of him for a time. If Russia did to nato what we did to Russia by breaking so many agreements, the doves would fly with AK’s.

Well, the (Catholic/Jesuit) Pope believes. that NATO might just have poked the bear into this conflict- but the last statement of this article is THE POINT: Why doesn’t he call for peace! Nothing angers me more than the stupidity of both Americans and the EU pushing this war further along!!!

@QVBB
For the most part, I agree with you. I DO believe there’s a myriad of activity going on in Ukraine that should not be & that US/NATO have waaay over-stepped it & now, Putin is responding BEFORE NATO can get a stronger foothold. This does NOT mean that I believe in any way, shape or form that Putin is trying to preserve his ROC/Christian nation for the sake of true belief, but rather, control, just as RCC does with its influence. Putin MUST retake the old Soviet borders, or as much of them as he can in order to have a good buffer zone for Russia proper.

The vast majority on this site have never been to Russia & I have, so, I’m aware of your line of thinking. Basically, both sides are nasty & THEY SHOULD ALL GO TO JAIL!. None are innocent, not a single one.

The only people who are causing this war further along are people behind a Putin. He can end this within couple hours. Withdraw your army from sovereign country that is Ukraine and the whole mess ends.
And by the way don’t you love a current Jesuit pope who is playing with “the spirit of this world” like he was taught in his Jesuit formation. Yesterday he was chastising NATO, today, Patriarch Kirill.

that was informative and fun.

seems like there is a demand to figure out what exactly has the UK so hyped up about the Russian challenge to control over valuable resources, markets, financing, and the benefits derived therefrom.

A lot of people have stopped looking to the Pope for guidance. His power has shrunk considerably and I think these actions are in hope of garnering some power back and a return to relevance in the world. Pass the collection basket, does Jesus take Visa?

Some update on hydrogen story :

…I am not sure what to make of it…is it serious or just a cover story ? It is similar with japanese hydrogen-fueled cars (Toyota Mirai).

Russia has huge hydrogen reserves in the north. There are parts of Siberia with what looks like blowouts from hydrogen release. Remember those pictures of the huge holes in the permafrost?
