Twisting of words? Crawfishing on an agreement?
“Oh no no no, you don’t know what was really said”.
Then why Zelensky?
An attempt to bolster Americans and others to stay in ‘the war’?
@ShadowNet Thank you for your post on ‘inversion’. I didn’t see it until after I posted this but seems that’s exactly what’s happening now.
i’m getting a little tired that u put up topics, which r totally simple.
YES, NATO did promise in 1989 that it will never expand to the east.
EBMASON, get out, while u can…
u’ll be trembling in the way of nazi-octopusses, if u r even able to asses the danger of being an ignorant law-wise tadpole.
do not say, u haven’t been warned.
good riddance
p.s.: u should be trembling in ur insecurity. lies, lies, lies, what u feed here. ‘Zeihan dottore’, phe. be a good girl. make a tea for yourself. or just get a lover, which u clearly do not have - he would be entertaining you and judge wisely,- try to have a walk. look up at the sky. it’s nice and boundless
Threats? Okay. I will continue to post. Read or not read.
Bye!
@thebeaver, why do you even engage in any conversation with kalamona, I thought we agreed that we won’t.
Keep posting, it keeps this forum alive.
YES, NATO did promise in 1989 that it will never expand to the east.
threats? haha. promises, girl, promises.
“YES, NATO did promise in 1989 that it will never expand to the east.”
any problem with established facts?
another hilly-billy argument over that?
still shaking the slap-tree?
Are you kidding or going woke? The “engagements” are usually more interesting than the articles posted.
he is an asset. that’s what he does. albeit a good one. maybe even getting money for being stupid.

do not be surprised.
just do not forget who is flooding the forum, with posts that does not matter. weigh it.
the ‘keeping alive’ is a wish of zombies and vampires, who r not alive at all. the dormant is alive, after all…
Somebody explain to me why Helmut Kohl and James Baker in 1990 have the right to tell people in 2023 in Poland or Lithuania or Ukraine how they run their country?
Maybe the non-expansion assurances were given in good faith at the time(and maybe not), but how long did anyone really expect this informal agreement to hold, without a Treaty?
Should the next President of the United States (if there is one), be bound to the semi secret, handshake agreements of Joe Biden?
Should the Russians get permanent veto power over their former satellites decisions to join the EU, NATO, or The Rocky and Bullwinkle Fan Club?
The people in the various nations of the former Warsaw Pact and Soviet Union will have their say, regardless of what Washington, Moscow or Berlin proclaims…even if you send in the tanks.
Promises without official treaties and signatures mean only one thing: she said, he said. Nobody in international arena treats them seriously.
The age of the gentleman’s agreement was two centuries ago. Even signed documents mean little anymore if they become “inconvenient” to a plan.
