The school congratulated alumnus Hillary Clinton on her “achievements”, refused to do the same for J D Vance… evidently they didn’t like what he said several years ago about the place.
Talk about educated morons. Perhaps their funding is entirely private? I would bet it is not.
Guess this is what preparing tomorrow’s leaders means, teaching the “party line” to insure integration into “the system”. Perhaps he failed to acknowledge adequate benevolence and respect for allowing him the opportunity to see life from both sides of the social spectrum. After all he was not of their social class or background. The opportunity to be an example of American dream does not allow a conservative worldview. One does not bite the hand that dishes out the “goodies”.
Maybe he represents a failed indoctrination attempt to turn him into a full blown socialist and they don’t want it advertised …
There was a relevant moment in the Carlson/Vivek interview where Vivek recounts a (recent) interaction with his Yale peers (he and Vance were classmates BTW) and their ultra liberal reaction to Vivek’s donation to a pro-life clinic in Springfield OH. Basically, the chat group of his peers freaked out at such a conservatively oriented act of generosity. Maybe a mass handout of Haitian Barbecue (sp) sauce to go with the canine and feline delicacies would have suited his classmates more.
