Wonder what, more than where, they were coming from.

What are sources of cosmic rays? It could be anything that can produce a stream of energized particles such as protons.

Coming out of the Earth would narrow that down a bit. What from under the ice might be belching quantities of high energy particles? This is above my pay grade, but in my likes. Any ideas?

The particles are generated by the Sun for example when there is an ejection off the Sun towards Earth. Does the Earth have an inner Sun or a similar plasma burping up cosmic rays?. Who knows.

Yes, an inner Sun or something that would mimic that, is what started me to wonder about these particles coming out of the earth or through it from the opposite side. Things like this send my mind on an excursion and seldom returns satisfied. But I still like going there, I haven’t done that kind of thinking for awhile; since before the scamdemic, 30 years, maybe. Energy coming, I assume, out of the Earth affects compasses and other sensitive equipment by altering the electromagnetic field (s) around them. That energy flows at a high rate of speed, of light maybe, and cascades through the atmosphere just like a Bolide. Start at 1 min. (keep your eyes on the right side of the screen and watch how the sky turns blue) Traveling that fast can really stir up the atmosphere. These high energy particles go right through us, but not without damage, we are all just lucky. They damage jets also when they hit the computer’s memory, but if they hit the processor, I think that’s really bad.
