Probably decades old tech.
Today’s silent weapons, are most likely unbelievable.
Or perhaps; too believable…?
In that “they” can make you believe… ?
Whatever they wish you to believe?

If you haven’t read Dr Farrell’s great book touching on the subject of mind control from a physical standpoint (last few chapters) I recommend Microcosm and Medium.
