Was reading up on private security around the world and came on an interesting book: Money For Mayhem: Mercenaries, Private Military Companies, and the Future of War by Alessandro Arduino
An interesting question came up: Does China Have a “BLACKWATER”?
[I took time to post this, but I just started listening - it helps to use the cc feature (closed captioning)]
[finished and edited title; then added more…]
Presuden Xi Jinping controls the barrel of the gun and the pen, meaning military and security as well as propaganda. So far China is sticking to their slogan: “Principle of Peaceful Rise”.
In other words their security forces are unarmed.
At least “publically”…
But do they have a Byzantine operation of cut-outs; that operate, out of the barrel of a gun?
One area that the Chines absolutely want to Control; is the digital infrastructure.
That certainly aligns with their being a TECHNATE.
So, might they be: the Blackwater of digitized governance infrastuctures?
