Heya.
I just thought I’d drop this here in case there are others who have 4 paw companions who starts closing in on their senior days and have some problems with elevated liver enzymes and inflammation; this should do the trick.
My vet told me almost 80 % of dogs over 7 years have issues with the liver due to (wrong) diet.
It’s difficult to do anything with the fact that producers of dog food are adding ingredients (and metals and other contaminations of all things ) that is of no good to them in the food.
I had my dog on chicken and rice diet for a month and saw a huge change in her energy level. Also the fur was more shiny after two weeks.
I understand not everyone can afford to have their dog(s) on a special diet consistently, I have no chance of it personally, but i have become very aware of what I feed my dog.
The costs of “fixing” a dog after a too long period of a no good diet is quadrupled the costs of periods with cleansing their system a bit.
So if you can afford it, please consider the diet of your pet.
And yes, be skeptical to “Doctors” and pushers of “natural” dog food as well, there is plenty of charlatans out there.
But Dr. Judy I have only heard good things of this far.
One doesn’t have to follow all her expensive tips, but pick up a trick or two along the way and it might mean something for those family members who cant talk diet themselves.
Have a great day!

My dog gets one chicken thigh a day in her diet and food that I eat and deem suitable plus high grade doggie treats. When I first found her she had a bristle like coat when I petted her. Now her coat is shiny and soft to the touch.
