I agree with General re: balloon. Don’t know if it’s weather balloon that just ‘got loose’ or something other but Chinese have good satellites. Distraction perhaps?

So, Putin and his regime according to gen. Macgregor words above has an appetite for rest of the Europe.
In Europe especially Germany and former Soviet satellites memory of Russian WWWII and post war atrocities are well too vivid. So, they will act accordingly and will send any armor in their inventory to Ukraine, so the war is not fought on their territory.
I doubt Russia could sustain another war with the ongoing one in the Ukraine or another to follow after this one. MacGregor is talking about the misconception of some of the EU members that they are dealing with the Soviet Union from the past, not the Russia of today. And no, I’m not a Putin fan. I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could throw him or any other politician. Time will ultimately tell.

Whether you like him or not, in this respect, he knows what he’s talking about. I do believe that this is Russia’s minimum take of territory. It has to be. I don’t think he wants all of Europe, but enough to serve as a really nice buffer.
