Egyptian Pyramid Block Machining Process

First off, this is my first time posting on the site. A little about my background. I’m an newly registered NREMT, and in Fire Academy. I’m working on getting licensing for my electrical work as well. I spent the better part of a decade as a Machinist and Machine programmer. To keep it brief I’m a Tradesman.

With that said I was reading some literature on EDM, which is Electric Discharge Machine/Machining. Basically the stock is submerged in DI water and a thin copper wire is charged and creates a plasma that precisely cuts hard materials… and stone. There are objects that have been found like the Baghdad Battery and other things that resemble what looks like a Leyden Jar. A Leyden jar is a primitive capacitor with the exception it can accumulate thousands of volts.

Now we can speculate on how they would charge something like that. Joseph’s books would be a great place to figure that out, there’s a wealth of information in them. My hypothesis is they created a primitive Electric Discharge Machine to cut the blocks. It’s what makes sense to me and even in their time they had the ability to create one. I’ll provide some examples in the form of gifs that will better illustrate what I’m getting at here. Please feel free to add on to what I’m saying or to disagree. It’s was just a thought that came to mind, it hasn’t fully been thought out but I feel they could possibly have had the capability to do it. They definitely had the material science to be able to. Well anyway here is an example. 1000000423
