To me it looks like Mr. Musk is wearing a mask. There are several clips from the World Cup that show it, plain as day. I also found another interview with the same phenomenon… Elon Musk shakes hands with Turkish president Erdogan at World Cup final - YouTube

Oddly enough, if you have an extra 20K you want to throw away, you can buy a realistic face mask of a tech billionaire…It is even comes with a recipt that can be used as proof that you are a moron… But I’m sure the government and tech billionaires have even more realistic mask technology.

Although I don’t doubt for a second such technology, and the will to use it in a nefarious way exists, could it in this case be scarring from liposuction (goodbye multiple chins permanently), coupled with the slightly odd look that even the best hair-replacement techniques engenders?

Just mentally scanning for alternatives, as he’s reported to be somewhat emotionally insecure.

Musk is reportedly an Asperger Syndrome personality and I have seen close ups that clearly show the presence of a mask on an individual who posed as Musk. The lower edge of the mask had pulled out of his shirt showing its edge. A friend sent to to me with a LOL comment but I can’t find it now or “I would prove it”. [shrug]

I really don’t know, but at the end of the clip you can see a vein in his neck pop-out and it does stop right at the “mask” line for lack of a better word. It is also a different skin tone. It could be him, or someone who does a great job of impersonating his mannerisms. I just thought it’s weird.

It could well be a mask, with his profile, I could easily believe it. My mind just has a habit of scanning through alternatives first, before settling on the unsettling :slight_smile:

I think it looks more like a foundation line.
The tech exists of course, but it seems to be Elon and I wouldn’t doubt he uses make up for public appearance.

This would be weird, people think there are doubles that wear masks to impersonate him for some reason?
