The idea that the United States Senate is going to ratify a treaty that takes away one iota of it’s power is really outstandingly naive.
It’s “can I sell you a bridge or famous monument” level stupid.
Senate has already done it at least once with USMCA.

So who do you want to define what constitutes a pandemic?(you meaning anyone who reads this and and cares to respond)
Who do you want to definitively assert when a pandemic is in progress?
Who exactly do you think should inform the general public how “we” should “prevent, detect and respond to future public health emergencies of international concern,”?
If not medical experts, governments, and international bodies, then who?
This is not me defending the integrity or competence of government, bureaucracy, drug companies, or doctors. It’s not even a defense of the pipe dream that is the United Nations.
This is me asking, what alternative do we have, other than returning to a state of primitism or warlordrism?
