How is the masonic, enlightenment, Anglo-Germanic Protestant reformation going for you guys? Not looking to good. In my opinion, anything “Western culture” and “Western values” tries to fix the problem, is going to be the work of the devil.
For traditional Roman Catholics there is no Western culture. Is a secularized geopolitical construct. Christendom is the correct term and it broke apart after the Protestant Reformation. What people call “European culture” or “Western culture” Catholics view it as Protestant enlightenment heresy.
The traditional Catholic perspective sees Christendom (the historical unity of European civilization under the Catholic faith) as the authentic cultural framework, and views the modern concept of “Western Culture” as a secularized, post-Reformation (and particularly post-Enlightenment) construct that has broken away from its Catholic roots.
“Western Culture,” in the modern sense, is often associated with secular liberalism, individualism, and Protestant-influenced capitalism—developments that many traditional Catholics see as deviations from the older Catholic synthesis. In fact, much of what passes for “Western values” today is the product of the very same forces that destroyed Catholic civilization —the Masonic Enlightenment, Anglo-Germanic Protestant rebellion, liberalism, and secular humanism.
England, France, Germany and the rest of them, let them eat cake until Christendom gets restored. Catholics always thought the Protestant enlightenment world was heresy just like Islam and Judaism.
