“Once killing the sufferer becomes a societally acceptable means for ending suffering, there is no end to the “suffering” that justifies human termination. We can see this phenomenon most vividly in Canada, because it is happening there more quickly than in most cultures. For example, a recent poll found that 27 percent of Canadians polled strongly or moderately agree that euthanasia is acceptable for suffering caused by “poverty” and 28 percent strongly or moderately agree that killing by doctors is acceptable for suffering caused by homelessness”-(Wesley J. Smith)…“Harm Reduction” is Euthanasia’s New Euphemism | Mind Matters
and what starts as a possibility will be turned into a must, for the greater good.
‘My mother is too old, I cannot see her suffer. Please kill her.’
Ethics Made Monstrous indeed.
That’s right folks. It’s about the Loss of Meaning (in every way imaginable at this point)
“This isn’t blood money, it’s a’ … A fee” … “Yes, a fee … Nothing more.” - Annas and Caiaphas to Judas in Superstar.
“I don’t like words that hide the truth.
I don’t like words that conceal reality. I don’t like euphemisms, or euphemistic language. And American English is loaded with euphemisms. Cause Americans have a lot of trouble dealing with reality. Americans have trouble facing the truth, so they invent this kind of soft language to protect themselves from it, and it gets worse with every generation. For some reason, it just keeps getting worse.” George Carlin on Euphemisms
I would have written out the full title of the musical referred to above and posted the entire text by Carlin but the “genteel sensibilities” of the “cork master” and our “software betters” would surely have prevented it. All for your protection of course (for those of you of a certain age this phrase would appear on the paper wrapping around the drinking glasses, that’s right actual glass, and the sash across the bathroom seat in your hotel room.
See also the play by W. Somerset Maugham “Our Betters” (later made into a film and yes, I’m aware of all its “controversy”, but still worth a watch and or a read), also see King Lear, Act 3, Scene 6, and the poem “Their Lonely Betters” by W. H. Auden.
i watched through the video and what caught me when pondering after, is that the old lady says that she does not know what comes after the 3rd injection.
well, i do think she does not know whats before that, which is clear that she does not like to ‘depend’…
the real blindness and hubris of Luciferian thought.
well, why does she eat, or drink, or breath at all? why does she depend upon the injections? a good ol’ fashioned rope would solve the problem… oh, i forgot, the PAIN! she wants to evade the pain, she just wants that ‘little prick’ on the hand.
one Gods children who has been thoroughly brainwashed, and does not even know about it. she ‘sees’ the solution!
it would make me cry if not for her hubris, for the ‘i see’
That is really sick.
Here is REALLY sick. My Canadian friend’s father in-law is dying from terminal cancer and signed up for euthanasia and the lousy government screwed up his paperwork so he is no longer ON THE LIST. Nothing like making up your mind to go peacefully only to get screwed again by Castro Twinkleshoes.
