This is a BIG DEAL. FINTRAC is the fraud aspect of the Canadian version of the US’s IRS.
This being offline holds up a lot of automated fraud detection.
I call it a win for the good of humanity, and this is “really unusual”. The empire has taken a hit today.

This is a big deal, this is like a DOD system being down in the US. Or Wells Fargo offline.
… as always IF true. Might they be “baiting” someone(s) to “try” something? They possibly might be “testing” another system by “saying” they are “offline”. We must always be cognizant of the Environment in which some of us have our being.
Kind of reminds me about the saying “the fox watching the hen house”.

Very well could be. Cannot give details but “I know” it’s down because the API isn’t responding as well as the IP gateways “ain’t there”.
