Louis XVI Descendant Says He’s Ready
From a Catholic eschatological perspective, particularly within the Spanish traditionalist worldview, the failure of liberal democracies is not merely a geopolitical event but the prophesied prelude to a divine restoration. People can find this expectation in the legend of “El Caudillo del Tajo” (The Leader of the Tagus), a figure who is the Iberian incarnation of the wider European “Great Monarch” prophecy. This messianic ruler is foretold to arise in a period of profound crisis—precisely the kind of systemic failure Dr. Farrell outlines—to purge the nation of corruption, defeat its enemies, and re-establish a sacral Catholic monarchy, heralding a new golden age. This isn’t just a political change; it is perceived as a theological inevitability, a divine intervention through a royal vessel.
Therefore, Dr. Farrell Royalist Thesis, which posits that Europe’s royal houses are strategically positioning themselves for a restoration, finds a powerful and parallel narrative in this enduring prophetic undercurrent. The political maneuvering that is being analyzed can be interpreted as the terrestrial stage-setting for what believers anticipate as a supernatural mandate. The “Caudillo del Tajo” and “Great Monarch” myths provide the sacred script—the messianic expectation—that could legitimize such a restoration, transforming a political resurgence into a perceived fulfillment of destiny. In this light, the actions of modern royal claimants are not merely power plays, but are potentially being orchestrated (or will be seen by followers as being orchestrated) to align with this deep-seated Catholic prophecy for a post-democratic order.
I definitely think there is an eschatological context to this “resurgence of royalist symbols”, but I think there are even deeper currents here at work connected with the dispensaltionlist-template idea that I suspect they’re following. They would include such traditionalist Roman Catholic expectations in their calculations I believe. But that’s the subject, perhaps, for a vidchat question or discussion.
You’ve hit the nail on the head, Dr. Farrell. Framing this as a potential “dispensationalist-template” is precisely the key. From this viewpoint, the traditionalist Catholic expectations like the “Caudillo del Tajo” or “Great Monarch” are not the driving force itself, but a powerful, pre-existing symbolic and narrative resource to be co-opted. I’ve always considered these prophecies to be exceptionally fertile memetic ground for this very purpose.
In the struggle between the concepts of monarch vs. parliament, only a monarch exhibits accountability. And it’s ironic to me that it was the Catholic tradition that introduced the corporate parliament / congress concept into governance, the very structure that allows for governance without accountability.
Mostly in England and France. Spain had a different cosmology about the Monarchy. France never understood the Spanish way of doing things. For example to call the Catholic Monarchs your Majesty was a big no no. The kingdom was above the Monarch not the other way around. They didn’t do coronations, it was a proclamation and an oath-swearing ceremony. The concept of La Corona (The Crown) was indeed an entity separate from the person of the king. The Spanish Model, as perfected by Ferdinand and Isabella, was built on the principle of subordinating all competing corporate and feudal authorities—nobility, church, and Cortes —to the overwhelming power of the centralized, sacral Crown.
Out of the frying pan into the fire is all I perceive. Makes me think of antiquity where you could root for Enlil and or Enki factions. None could care less about humanity, but had different ideas to use their slaves! And why not give it a try, the state Christianity is in, Jesus Christ is about written out of humanities Christian based history due to being such a worped distorted mess of a religion!
Seems to me that the French monarchists (and perhaps other European monarchist / aristocratic elites), polling surveys are ad idem with the WEF regarding democracy and about some form of return to feudalism. A marriage made in Hell ahead?
