Not sure how significant this is… It’s symbolic if nothing else, and emblematic of state-level pushback against the federal government in the U.S.
It sounds OK until an opponent with a sinister agenda gets control of the wheel.
I’m all for state’s rights, but he’s coming up for re-election, and there are radicals who are going to challenge him.
Candidates as bad as Matthew McConaughey here in Texas?
I consider spinning up alternative currency a better strategy against FEDERAL B@STARDS WHO WANT TO fuc you with needle, ejaculating corporate semen into your heart. Myocarditis and blood clot rape kit on sale.

That’s my only concern. I’d hate to see a state militia that a future governor could use to round up people and put them in quarantine camps. On the other hand, I’m for almost anything that limits federal power at this point. Sounds like it’s a small number of people (for now, anyway), so my first impression is it’s symbolic.
Anyway, what interests me more is how this might fit into the trends of U.S. states trying to detach from federal power.
I agree, and at this point, it appears the country is heading towards the *Divided States of America", anyway, so perhaps we should just get on with it then?
Probably the only option is to pray that DeSantis’ motives are sincere, and if they are, that he’s re-elected - and without the red supporting areas having to pay a price in the form of retaliation and / or interference at election time.
It was way too close for comfort last time!!
