Casavant is a very well-known Canadian builder, and I actually had the opportunity, just out of high school, to play a small Casavant tracker in Prince Rupert, British Columbia. It was a lovely instrument.

I am reminded here of my trip back to Melbourne for my son’s wedding back in February; together with four of my Filipino family, I planned a short holiday in the city after the wedding…this pic is from our visit to St Patrick’s Catholic Cathedral, on a small rise in East Melbourne. Church organ is still very much operational and used regularly
