@Scarmoge Unfortunately, riots, burning, and violence in or by the residents of “difficult suburbs” in France both occurring and being treated with kid gloves by the government, while nonviolent grassroots protests not in those suburbs are more or less violently suppressed (especially under Macron) – all of that is nothing new or speculative. It’s all common knowledge in France, questionable online pictures, memes, or stories notwithstanding…
Even more unfortunately, analogous situations increasingly exist throughout the West, the U.S. of course being no exception.
