I’m all in favor of people celebrating their heritage. They obviously put a lot into this performing dance troupe. Entertainment primarily for sure. Lots of frustrated performers in LA…looking for an outlet. I’d wager most of these people are just run of the mill citizens who have mortgages, typical neighbors, mainstream career people. The venue for sure is strange and as others have observed probably inappropriate. All their considerable effort to put on this performance didn’t get much of an audience. They need a better stage. County fair perhaps? Surely the Catholic church didn’t pay them to perform…surely.
