It is interesting that the scientists now hypothesize that the gene edit modified the tendency to inhibit behavior, indicating that the natural state is aggressive and love is an elevated state of being.

Huh, well Syrian Hamsters are naturally very agressive in the wild.
This could be true. I saw several videos about how to tame a hamster
Didn’t think I was going to get a pet store lesson on Giza. All the years of hamsters, mice, rats etc as pets growing up, I missed the Syrian aspect. Now I raise Tunis Sheep so many more imports than imagined.
