Generational Curse or Generational Consequences and Confusion?

‘Generational Curse’ has become the latest buzz phrase in Evangelicalism and because of its label, has caused a massive misunderstanding of what this actually means. IMO, even Fr. Ripperger does not explain this well enough in a repetitive way. One of the priests at Fr. R’s alma mater in Houston, in part, agreed with me and simply pointed out to notice that Fr. R. directed people to reading The Bible and prayer as a first step in resolving the issue, second step, to his panel for guidance.

The priest said and I paraphrase somewhat, "The word ‘curse’ is a bad descriptor and we know that Fr. R. regrets using it because people draw the wrong inference from it and apply scripture that is incorrect; however, IF there are Occult, Free Mason or other such practices in the family, it is likely more than mere ‘Consequences’. It is an ‘influence’, a form of ‘Confusion’, perpetrated by evil that is more difficult to break and the vast majority of Christians cannot and do not know how to begin to break it by themselves. IT IS NOT the inheritance of ancestral sin upon confessing Christian progeny. Confusion is the primary weapon evil uses against all of Christendom and most every adjective you can think of can be classified as Confusion. “For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every kind of evil work.” - James 3:16 and “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” - 1 Corinthians 14:33 " You can see how much there is to unpack here. (A leftist phrase but ‘unpack’ is a great word!)

I have looked for a shorter way to explain this and Lo and Behold, the best, shortest I’ve found is from a young, Pentecostal preacher! I was rather happy to see this, not that others in that realm don’t say the same but this young man takes just a few minutes to explain the challenges (leftist word) he encounters with the philosophy of ‘Generational Curses’.
