‘Is Concias’ is a huge megalithic tomb in south Sardinia. It is one of 800 Giant’s Tombs in the country but this one is unique as it is aligned to the north. It has cyclopean construction and a Tholos type interior with a sloping ceiling and an altar at the southern end. From above it looks like a bulls head and horns and dates back to the Bronze Age. It may be aligned to the Big Dipper and was used for the soul to pass through at death, according to tradition.
