The Ukraine war was a Western European proxy war against Russia designed to at least diminish Russia’s military strength. Trump also involved himself in a lame attempt to strengthen the Ukraine by helping Zelensky and snubbing Putin. When it became obvious those plans were a failure an attempted assassination of the Russian President was made.
