Very Informative!
Thanks for the link!
The unintended consequences of actions are usually the horrific parts, striking a school killing children if true. Did the “intelligence agencies” discern the leadership whose destroyed residences didn’t contain them convince the military they were holed up in the school? Sounds very similar to Israel’s cover for bombing of hospitals in the Palestinian war. Management of the world’s natural resources certainly brings out the inhumane part of humanity.
Killing school children had not been a problem for the Ayatollah in the past… Just saying. Like you said before, @Bill10558, the first thing to suffer in war is Truth.
Missing element here is that Iran wasn’t attacking USrael, they were negotiating and according to the Omani mediators, Iranians had agreed key nuclear enrichment concession yesterday. So it shouldn’t have mattered even it is true that any military were in the school building or not. Also it is still a war crime to attack knowing that civilians are in the building, wouldnt it have been better to destroy the puttauive miltary installation ouside of school hours ?
Venezuelan oil was the only way to supplement the loss of Iranian oil…
Not bombing schools or hospitals? That’s pure sentimentality, no longer allowed in a technocratic world.
It is the Geneva convention, if that goes South then Molly hold the barn door.
Aren’t conventions where they wear silly hats, whoop it up and get drunk?
Especially in a country signed up to certain International Law conventions, and where a POI arrested off a flight in transit.
Obviously we’ve not only reached the stage of “Do what thou wilt.” but also anything goes…kidnapping and killing a country’s leaders, poisoning populations etc. And one is to believe in a “civil society”? Please.
