And so some armies goose step. Pretty ridiculous. Never really understood the whole concept, it’s unnatural wastes energy it’s a parade extravagance with no useful purpose I’m not sure what it was supposed to accomplish either. Dangerous to one’s knees.
I remember as a youngster asking my folks why assassinate JFK? I didn’t get it. If you really want to see the murderer and look into his eyes LBJ is the guy. No reason to kill jfk, unless his replacement is different, or has a different policy. Zero. Only reason to remove jfk is if you get what you want from the new guy period. Personal crap can wait, til he’s out of office. This was something else. If the two had identical policies, LBJ would not gain my suspicion but where they differ, there lies the gist of the murder. Where they differ. ET? USSR? Vietnam Nam? Space in general? COG? It’s a fact that if you can identify where having LBJ in there altered course 180 degrees, then you’ve got a culprit. In my opinion, this is a non event. I trained with the German Army in Germany and they used to be an exceptionally well trained military. Especially considering at the time they were a conscript military. The National Socialists only appeared one time in the history of there entire race of people…and because the German army attempts to revive a type of military style marching, it is now sort of scary?? Prussin marching used to signify the best military dicipline in the world and NOT National Socialism. It’s why the Russian army still goose steps with the best of them. Because they were trained to do so during the Tsarist times, by the Prussian military trainers…Catherine the Great and all that Jazz.
Actually, Awake, I agree with you… to a degree. There’s nothing national socialist about Prussian parade drill, and I’ve said so on many occasions.
In the end, it came down to who had the bigger tougher fighting force. By the last chapter in the novel man. But then it was always true. Though it developed into a control situation in that mankind’s manipulation of dna, in order to form not a more perfect union, rather a more perfect soldier in promotion of deunionization.
