Making money of disaster is sick, that is the only thing I agree within this discussion. I don’t deny the west is knee deep in wealth extraction, but the only thing I see is a change of the guard in making money of disaster, not a change of behavior! The arrogance in this discussion was of the chart.
The idea of “synthetic loosh” has me more worried!

Read the book when it came out. People on the bus reacted to this book, more than any other book I was talking about, on my countless bus trips. They would copy it down, or take a picture[cell phone].
Extremely popular.
That has dwindled since.[interest in reading]
