Then comes the part to why this novel is being published[IMO].

A technology that is currently being injected “voluntarily” by the masses worldwide?

If the book is getting lots of media coverage or high-profile endorsements, then I suspect it was commissioned by Schwabische Klaus & Co. or a similarly benign organization.

I ordered it from my library and am picking it up next week.
I’ll read it and see what frame the author is employing.

The Novel’s setting is present day Hollywood/Las Vegas.
“And what do movies do? Shape thought. Create alternate realities. What could be more dangerous?” [James Flynn]
[And his reluctant side kick, Sancho [metaphorically, refers to Don Quixote’s sidekick]
Who is patient Flynn’s, psychiatric medical nurse].

Goldhammer, "Isn’t that what advertising does? Change people’s perspection of reality and steer them towards another point of view? This is not a new concept. Plato talked about his allegory of the cave. Knowledge gained through our senses is no more than conjecture. Opinion. Shadows on the wall. Truth is malleable and not absolute. It is what each of us decides it is.

James Flynn then gets into Goldhammer’s lap top and encrypts it.
It was an audacious plan. A slow-motion coup d’etat of America
using the latest mind control technologies.

By the way; I was in a Casino, eating and had just finished reading the book when a gentleman asked me, “What are you reading?” I replied, "A new James Bond novel[cover art shows a James Bond figure under a ‘Welcome To Las Vegas’ sign, and above the iconic ‘Hollywood’ sign].
We talked a little, and he said he was going to pick it up at the local library.
I told him his library doesn’t have a copy[won’t get into it how I know].
I said, "When I mean a ‘New James Bond’, I mean a “New James Bond”.
Would you like this copy? I asked.
He took it, and thanked me.
He was tickled pink.

I’ve seen him before; and in our brief encounters, we’ve talked books.
Can’t wait to see him again, in the near future. To see his take on Bond/Flynn.
