Havana Syndrome production device "allegedly" purchased on black market

… IF TRUE this is disturbing. The idea that a non-state entity is capable of producing this kind of technology and would make it available to the highest bidder … It is claimed that the device has been undergoing testing for over a year. One would think that for 8 figures it would come with an instruction manual and an 800 number to call if you had any questions.

CNN=CIA The military is known for sponsoring or capturing research like this…perhaps a bootleg copy was preserved before handing over to the military.

… or perhaps another piece of Langley literature?

How does one tell when professional liars are telling the truth?

The same way one can tell if a politician is lying.

Here you go
Epimenides the Cretan says, ‘that all the Cretans are liars,’ but Epimenides is himself a Cretan; therefore he is himself a liar. But if he is a liar, what he says is untrue, and consequently, the Cretans are veracious; but Epimenides is a Cretan, and therefore what he says is true; saying the Cretans are liars, Epimenides is himself a liar, and what he says is untrue. Thus we may go on alternately proving that Epimenides and the Cretans are truthful and untruthful.

Those darn philosophers they’ve got an answer for everything!
I read where pragmatism saved us from Nihilism. Now I understand why Pierce is so important to our thinking.

… Peirce is an important figure in the History of Thought. I wish very much that what you say were true. Unfortunately Nihilism is alive and well. Since Nominalism triumphed in the 13th Century it’s been downhill ever since.
