WAR IS PEACE.

The USSA is inherently virtuous, especially in its wars.
Theyâre not for oil, or territory, or treasure.
NO!
The USSA undertakes WAR in the service of Virtues!
Democracy! Equal Rights! Women Votes! Fighting Fascism! Fighting Wrongs!
If âtheyâ donât progress or agree to what the USSA considers righteousness?
Theyâre bombed ALL To HELL!
Itâs All Good!
WAR IS PEACE!
Jeremiah 8: 11 ⌠talking about different things of course. But it comes to mind every time I hear above message.
Interesting - someone was quoting Jeremiah yesterday in response to Dispensationalists saying that Israel is Godâs favored people no matter what they do.
Will have to read Jeremiah again - one of my fatherâs favorite sources to cite from memory, which didnât make him a welcome guest to some parties.
Weâre praying for the safety and wellbeing of residents who are living in and near those areas (Iran, Israel, Palestine, etc., etc.,); their precious living spaces will surely be contaminated by the fallout of the bombs.
One doesnât hear much discourse about the question of fallout for the people who live in the areas that get bombed. One brave nun who used to speak to that issue is no longer in this life.
It is my understanding the first three sites hit by US did not produce contamination; however, Israel hit I think it was Isfahan, and radiation contamination was reported. Different sources sometimes contradict (fog of war).
It was my honor so far in life to have known a family member of an American doctor who went with his family, to study genetic damage effects in Japanese people 2 generations after Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I have known a few others involved in taking professional stands against the use of nuclear weapons, and such people sure know a great deal more on the subject than casual laypeople who think they know how ârelatively harmlessâ such weapons are.
And the one; maybe from the bomb/missile, and not the site
It was not Isfahan, but Bushehr that may have shown contamination.
In this day and age more damage can be done with bombs that donât include fallout. âNuclearâ is just the type of reaction needed to trigger the bomb. It doesnât necessarily include fallout (dirty bombs). JFK allowed this testing in 1963. It was completed and confirmed 10 years later. Dark Journalist and Dr Farrell discussed this a few months ago.
Contamination of the land doesnât allow the victor(s) to extract the spoils of war from the ground and thatâs a major reason ( but certainly not the only one) why wars exist not just today, but in the past as well. Thatâs not to say another event such as Hiroshima or Nagasaki will never happen again, and thatâs the scary part. One just has to look around the world at the freaks jostling one another to get control of the nuclear button in various nations.
The Uranium shells in Iraq?
Contaminated the land; affecting ALL who lived there, and are living there.
And, what arenât âtheyâ telling us about other âcontaminationsâ,
In the service of: âThe better goodâ?
excellent! It now makes more sense the (obviously wrong) narrative put out in the US pressers âwe completely destroyed IR nuclear programâ. We did a cosmetic attack with enough kaboom to be somewhat plausible to MSM watching normies and claim success. Now IS can say âahhhhh, not a threat anymoreâ and come to the table (stop their nightly pummeling).
Thank you. I knew several doctors who were appalled at the US using depleted uranium munitions in Iraq - as anyone but a soulless incredibly wicked neocon could grasp - not only for the harm done to Iraqi civilians but inevitably also to US soldiers who served there.
Oh, but uranium doesnât really hurt people - I forgot.
That notion of âclean bombsâ put out by the technocrats, seems a little like the âsafe and effectiveâ injection campaign to me. It gives people a false sense of comfort in bombing campaigns.
While the media often tends to focus on technical and strategic aspects of war mongering and war theatrics, many people do feel for people and animals who are affected by bombs flying near their living spaces. I donât believe in âcleanâ bombs â there will be pollution of water and soil, also from residues of the bomb clouds. And, there will be permanent psychological harm.
Our Iranian taxi driver (who escaped Iran many years ago) used to share tragic stories about his family and friends who were not fortunate to escape. He was deeply traumatised.
Recently, we viewed two short documentaries of an Ethiopian refugee living in New York, and an Iraqi photographer who survived the last round of bombs/warring, and neither man looked as if he was fabricating his personal tragic story. You can always tell from someoneâs eyes, whether that person is telling truth or not. We felt their pain, acutely, just like we felt the pain of our taxi driver, and also of our family members who were in Europe during WWII, all of whom never, ever got over the bombings.
There is something about a Bomb â that leaves a residue even far more lingering than a cancer-causing chemical residue, and that is lifelong psychological trauma.
For me, personally: Iâd love to see our world evolve to a point where all the bombs (of all countries) are dismantled, and whoever wants to order others to bomb/kill/harm one another, just get into a boxing ring oneself, and then box it out with the opponent, and donât drag anyone else into it, and leave everyone elseâs living spaces alone.
I would join your crew, Sunnyboy, if only I could!
Years ago when Netflix was still a film DVD subscription service & my husband was alive, we watched Waltz with Bashir (2008), a film made by Ari Folman, who had been in the IDF when they attacked Lebanon, I have forgotten all the details of why. He was haunted by what he & his fellow soldiers had done to civilians, and yes, heâd call it PTSD.
After I read the book Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi (Iranian), we both went to see the film. We also ordered West Beirut and other films on Palestine. We were both strongly opposed to the wars on Iraq & Afghanistan - we knew they did not do 9/11. Without getting into the 9/11 conspiracy ideas (many of which contain truths), it was Wahhabi fanatics to all appearances, developed by the Saudis, who carried that out, but we didnât dare offend our friends the Saudis.
Thanks for sharing insights into the film and book you read. Both my husband and I are tired of hearing people salute the bombing campaigns (via media, and then people who parrot the media) without so much as making any effort to connect with people who have been affected by bombs, whether in person via conversations, or whether through books and films as you have shared.
And, Iâm sorry about the passing of your husband, and hope that you are still able to connect with his spirit.
