His crime?
Common sense; helping out people being scammed, by technological[government endorsed] expensive bozos whom are masquerading their products -“as good as new”. The authorities should be arresting the incompetent engineers that released these, roadside time-bombs.

There’s been rumors of this for several months now. I haven’t followed closely because I’d figured it was wishful thinking. Maybe not?

Seems those more and more stringent regulations fly so against reality, it isn’t feasable to implement them by technological sound means. Insted of improving and finetuning, it kills the aim of why it was invented in the first place. Killing creativity on all levels seems the aim under the guise of protecting life. Unless you invent,killing life inventions, nothing is permitted anymore, hence AI programmed to curtail and shorten life to zero emission!
