This looks interesting. My late husband heped me understand just how complicated the man was when convienenty a novel came out that didn’t show him as a hero but showed him in debth, how he thought about himself and you could see how he could have chosen a very different path. It was called something Knight (his personal identification was a Knight), and followed him as he went from idealistic young hero to the somewhat comical but very deadly “Huntsman of the Reich” complete with baby lion cub and all. He was a very complicated man and could have had such a different future, there was a reason the allies feared him in prison with the other NAZI’s after he got he wits back when he came off of the drugs.
