In this rhyme there is no prophet Ahijah, just Mr. Kenny “gut feeling” saying, Israel appears to have entered an Assyrian phase.
In the biblical story, God sends prophet Ahijah, he had some bad news for Solomon. The bad news was that his kingdom was going to split into two, there is going to be a schism. The kingdom of Israel was not going to be united anymore. He appoints this prophet and announces that the successor to Solomon, which was suppose to be Solomon son, Rehoboam, he is no longer going to be the successor. Ahijah appoints on behalf of God a new successor and that was Jeroboam.
In the story, Israel was split into two. Jeroboam establishes the kingdom of Israel in the north, with the support of ten of the tribes. The remaining two tribes, Benjamin and Judah, establishes the kingdom of Judah in the south. As a consequence the Kingdom in the north didn’t had easy access to the temple in Jerusalem; Jeroboam makes the mistake of establishing the worship of golden calf’s in his kingdom, God becomes angry and sends as a punishment the Assyrians. The Assyrians captured all the ten tribes and take them out of Israel, and they were scattered among the nations. That’s where the story of the lost tribes comes from. The kingdom of Judah was spared , that didn’t last long, because the Babylonians comes in, take them out and the kingdom is no more.
Prior to October 7th, Israel was going through a little bit of internal turmoil. Netanyahu was accused of doing “Golden calf worship” in the form of government corruption. Israel was in civil unrest. Prophet Ahijah didn’t give any warnings, but many Jews were denouncing the corruption, and also the mistreatment of Palestinians. I see similar retarderies as the biblical story, and now the Assyrians are at the doorstep. Not only the Assyrians, the Babylonians, Persians, Egyptian, etc. In other words, the whole bowl of wax.
My point is… Israel is not behaving wisely. They keep doing the same mistakes, quiet frankly, behaving like little children. Is going to end badly. Don’t get me wrong folks, I think Israel has the right to exist. People where I live, are either already there, or getting ready to go there, just like Americans from all states. In the case the US gets involved, is going to be a major disaster for all parties involved, be it Israel, Lebanon, Palestine, Houthis, Iran, Syria, US, etc. Nobody wins in my opinion.
