How Many Sacraments are There?

After spending over 70 years in the “Christian Mindset” my conclusion is that we’ve all been “had”… controlled by Someone Else’s Narrative! Right now I’m reading “Exit the Cave” by Howdie Mickoski. Makes a lot of sense that Someone Else set up this Rat Race we are living in. That in taking back our personal Sovereignty we can refuse to come back here again!! Whew!!! :innocent:

I understand. Not sure what you mean about “Christian Mindset” but do remember Bible said knowledge would increase in the future (para). Don’t know what that means but some are more willing to keep an open mind; just don’t let your brains fall out.

We can thank Luther for “the apocrypha” being removed from “Protestant” versions of the Bible; I can say that because I attend a Lutheran church. This is why I keep a Catholic version. Lots of things happened around the times of Luther; some good, some bad. Lots of things happened well before those times and afterward. One of the most dangerous occurrences in Christianity in the last century or so is Dispensationalism (1917). I think Bill Cooper had a good idea when he said, “Read the words in ‘red’, somewhat ignore the rest and you have a better assurance of safety”. He might be right about this, at least, to start.

At this point, my favorite writing, which Luther almost had removed, is James. Short and to the point. In essence, you can haggle over all sorts of doctrinal issues but if you say you believe something and don’t follow it up with actions, you’re full of crap!

A lot of my questions were answered when Hebrew Scholar, Mauro Biglino’s new book came out; “Gods of The Bible”. We did not even receive a correct translation of what we call The Old Testament. He demonstrates quite clearly that the “God” of the O.T. is NOT The Creator of All!! I would like to know who glued the Jesus Story on to the O.T. when??? AND…just which version of the Jesus Story was passed down to us by The Controllers???

Biglino, Tabor, Luther, Constantine; everyone has a spin.

Correct translation could not be considered a “spin”; not when that man’s whole entire life was spent in Hebrew translation work…IMO!!!

Still a spin to me @Morrisville.
If you prefer the word ‘opinion’ just say so.
