I reject the theory that the East doesn’t care about the environment while the West does- NEITHER give a rats fart about the environment. The West uses their definition of environmental pollution to curb industry and take control of both manufacturing and transportation (while flying around in jets). The East may simply recognize that CARBON is NOT A POLLUTANT.
Of course, The East is a kinder, gentler place, except UKRAINE. The West, all bad.
