A former coworker worked along the western portion of the border locating surveyed spots for motion sensors in wilderness areas. He had no idea how they were to work at that time. Imagine the physical resources needed to investigate and track just one incursion from either direction. Tasking satellite resources for real time imagery would not be a simple thing to do I’d speculate. But, we can put a man on the moon right?
