… the use of formal and informal fallacies, unnamed sources, loaded language, advertising, salesmen, theorizing, news, self-help literature, developmental psychology, ALL FICTION (this would of course include ALL political speeches), ALL Religion, Nominalism (all Relativisms are Nominalisms), folklore, weather forecasting … Science will have to do something about its method … they’ll be no more of this starting from a potentially false hypothesis business. Dictionaries will have to undergo massive expurgation. No more use of words denoting possibility. the list goes on … Gee, this will be great! … with the added green bonus of cleaning up some air pollution. I can’t wait.
Wow!, it occurs to me that this is really going to put a tremendous burden on the Ministry of Truth. They are going to have to go through a massive amount of material in order to make it appear that none of this kind of misleading and deceptive speech had ever been used in the history of the world.
