Hymn of the Cherubim - Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky - Extended

From comments on this Hymn of the Cherubim presentation:

This liturgy is the finest example of Orthodox religious singing. This singing can be heard during big holidays in cathedrals of Moscow, St.Petersburg and Kiev. It reverberates in your heart with awe and excitement.

Someone made a comment once that if they were trying to describe sunlight to a blind person, they would have them listen to this. I can think of no better description for this music. May the blessings of Heaven rest upon you all.

There is also this interesting piece( at 34:33 ), “Hymn of the Cherubim”, by Dr. G.I.Gurdjieff( and T. de Hartmann) :

“Hymns from a Great Temple ** Hymnes d’un grand temple ** Himnos de un gran templo” on YouTube

Thank you for the recommendation, WuWu. I found some other piano works by these two men.
I had heard of Gurdjieff and “The Fourth Way” during a Daniel Liszt program a few years ago. Quite an interesting life.
