I see this as a possible prelude to 'tiny homes' which will be rented and also to a Universal Basic Income (UBI)

Although not mentioned in either article, a basic income/benefit was put in place temporarily during the Kovids called the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB). This could be seen by some as a ‘coast to coast’ test of a UBI.

Or to see how many people want to stay on the slave enrollment. I just dropped ALL attachment to SSA and IRS - no affiliation with the government programs. Thank you.

The Canadian government has made this process elusive… (big shock). Rather have you sign up to be euthanized.

@justawhoaman “Or to see how many people want to stay on the slave enrollment.”
You’re 100% correct on that. The number of people who quit jobs that paid less were staggering. Luckily, there was all kinds of newly arrived people to take their place. Many of whom drive nicer cars than many around here can afford and on minimum wage at that. Who says miracles don’t happen? You just need someone to pay for them.

According to Turdeau, it’s all about choices. He just loves that word, usually after the fact. :upside_down_face:
