Assuming the illustrated specimens have not been tampered with, looking at those slides leads one to believe that the patient(s) with those affected RBC’s must be gravely ill, or by now, possibly deceased.
It’s been a long time since I’ve looked at human blood under a microscope. Is there anyone here with more recent medical lab skills who can verify or refute these microscopic observations??
