That reminded me of this short clip from the Cosmos about Heike crabs… I have no idea if Carl Sagan is right or not… but I have always thought the story of the Heike Crabs was interesting. Basically these Japanese crabs look like Samurai warriors and he says it is because of people always threw the ones that looked like Samuri warriors back into the ocean…

i clearly miss my dog. i mean it does not tear my heart out, maybe if i had one, but i dearly miss the little adventurer, mr. ready-for-all.
