This is unforgivable given that she / it / other is part of a bureaucracy. Here, let me see if I can help …

I’m more concerned about what happens to the folks caught in this net. We keep hearing “fema” camps thrown around again. First they came for …

… To exactly what “net” are you referring? … and which “folks”?

we’ll find out i guess.

But but, she has such a commanding presence!:face_with_hand_over_mouth: Looks like the weak link in the chain of command was at the top and the major issue of DC crime has been identified.
Fire them all, restructure a new org chart, hire back those who qualify physically and mentally (maybe very limited since the DEI disease has gone unchecked for quite some time), leave the 800 replacements as the vetting and training group.

… Again I ask … What is the “net” and who are the “folks” about which you have concern? Your statement … you define. A simple, straightforward question.

… but then one would have to explain “org charts”, “weak link” (not the game show), "restructure’, and “vetting”. You are really making this difficult Bill.

I said test for mental capacity too!:face_with_hand_over_mouth:

if you are talking to me the net would be what they are casting with the military, the rumor that he being trump wants to clean the area of homeless and the wanting to catch those supposed criminals. Will they disappear? And who is next? Probably any of us who gets in the way. It appears the lessons of history might be remembered but not learned.

… By “net” do you mean a strategy to catch criminals? That seems appropriate. I’m not sure who these “supposed” criminals are exactly (I’m guessing that you believe that all crimes are of the “alleged” variety) . Would you say that carjackers, those who go about randomly shooting in the street, muggers and the like are “supposed” criminals? What are the “lessons of History” that we are to apply in this case?

Do you really believe that “being caught” could happen to you or any average citizen?

Yes, I’m paranoid. They’ll, whoever they are, will come for all of us eventually if they can. Crimes and criminals? I would say that’s up the folks making up the laws and that’s not me. Lessons of history? You mean you forgot?

I suppose if one can get off due to a technicality in the law, one could be incarcerated due to a technicality in the law?

… I am familiar with a few of the “Lessons of History” and the one that you are referring to (given the phrase you quoted from a poem supposedly written by Martin Niemöller) does not apply here. Do you really think you live in a Nazi State?

… Law has nothing to do with it. The Monopoly on Force has everything to do with it. I wish we lived in a world where this was not the case, but we just do not. Prepare accordingly.

actually, with trump telling us who is going to be our next governor when I know the man who had to back out of the race for this other man to run and the man I know is a good person, well … i’d say it’s on its way. as always, time will tell.

True, so awfully true….
