Love the little newsy articles of recorded political rants in an empty chamber venue. What’s the point of the rant or showing the empty chairs other than to humiliate the citizens that they’re not represented by anyone.

Yep the opposition in EP dissenters are at the minority end of the scale. However, it is important to have the rant anyway so rest or reality see that opposition. Generally it is the habit of political creatures to mostly attend when the leader is present or the party whips are in operation. UK is ramping up rhetoric for war, and this is a debate on militarisation in UK House of commons…you get the picture/ Huge topic No Leader = small attendance.
